The area of Guildford, which is part of the Shire of Swan and 13km from Perth, is a small well-known town due to its proximity to both Perth and the Swan Valley. The Swan Valley is a winery and brewery haven- and it is only a 30 minute drive from Perth and 15 from Guildford.
With a rich history, such as how Guilford was an inland port, and the natural wonders, such as the 4 heritage trails that run through its streets and parks, it is no wonder Guildford is popular. Enclosed on a peninsular formed by the Swan and Helena Rivers, this town is worth at least a visit, or perhaps even a longer stay.
